• First submit your site address and description (if required) to the Search Engines and Directories.
• They will then review your submission. This can take from 2 - 8 weeks. If successful your site will be added to their database.
• All Search Engines and Directories index sites differently. They may scan your page for keywords and phrases, accept brief site descriptions, or index your site in full.
• When a person conducts a search through a Search Engine or Directory, it creates a list of matching search results from its database of indexed pages, displaying your site address and sometime a brief description.
• There are no standards or guidelines in ranking websites so Search Engines and Directories won't present search results in the same way or position.
